We're rebuilding
CS Weather will be off line during January as an upgrade both the computer hardware and software that runs this site takes place. It will not be possible to provide data from the backyard weather station to the web during this time.
The present computer used has become quite unreliable, resulting in ever increasing amounts of downtime, and lack of near-real time updates. In addition, the unreliability has caused corruption to the data that has necessitated a great deal of manual intervention to correct. The hardware upgrade should improve reliability, providing more uptime. It will further allow for future upgrades and features, including web cams and a lightning detector.
